Dogs and cats have been known to eat strange things, as evidenced by a series of X-rays featured in this CBS News story. Pictures of pets’ insides provided by veterinarian Amy Zalcman, an expert in detecting foreign objects ingested by dogs and cats, show everything from a stack of coins to a kitchen knife.

VetMed Animal Health will be closed Monday, May 31st in observance of Memorial Day.

Hi all. It’s been 1 year since we opened the doors at VetMed Animal Health. It’s been an amazing journey so far. We’ve met some great people, gained new friends, and seen a lot of animals. We would like to thank all of you for supporting us in this venture.

We would especially like to thank our family. This includes the people we’re related to as well as our staff and their families. It’s not easy to say yes to the Dr. at 3 AM for that emergency. But our staff does it, and we appreciate it. A very special thank you to them!

From all of us at VetMed, thank you! Without our clients, we wouldn’t be here. We’re going to continue to provide quality service and push the envelope to provide the next level of veterinary care!

Well, the thunderstorms kept Bark in the Park at bay.  Is what’s bad for us good for you?  Did you know that VetMed Animal Health was going to have some cool things to give away?  Well, now you do.  Stop by the clinic this week and pick up balloons for the kids, key chains, chip clips, and other items.  Who knows, if you’re lucky, you might be able to get a t-shirt!  Instead of seeing you at Bark in the Park, we’ll see you for our 1 year anniversary celebration!

VetMed Animal Health has survived our first year of business. We are so very grateful to our faithful following of clients. YOU made our clinic a success.
