Cold Weather Tips

6 January; Author: jgables

Snow, snow, snow. Right now that is all we are hearing about. The weather forecasters are predicting an accumulation of up to 3 inches for the Middle Tennessee area. This weather creates an additional concern for pet owners. Please remember that your pets have built in winter coats BUT it will not protect them enough in this harsh winter weather.

If you have indoor pets, then cozy up by the fire with them and watch a good movie with a cup of cocoa.

If you have outdoor pets, please take extra precautions. The best solution is to bring them inside. Inside could be the basement if you don’t want them on the furniture! If you choose not to bring your pet inside, make sure that he has adequate warm shelter. For those of you that have a garage…share it with those pets! Also, remember that outside water bowls can become blocks of ice. Check them frequently and replenish with water as needed.

Have fun in the snow!

Meet Bindi

Hello fans, this is Bindi.  She is a rat, as you can tell.  She came to see us a little while back for some intestinal issues, but she is fine now.  She has been clicker trained, and has a few tricks up her sleeves.
